Christmas Cheers
Whatever your faith or if no faith at all, you are almost bound to celebrate Christmas in some way or another, so make the most of it…
It is a cold, dark time of the year which it brought to life with an untold multitude of lights and gallons of festive cheer. The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season uses up masses of our physical and nervous energy, it is thought provoking and almost every single one of us succumb to one of the most beautiful of all human traits, which is generosity.
Whilst out this afternoon, buying a few last minute bits and pieces I saw people, struggling with boxes and bags of gifts, etc., positively pouring money into a bin to help support and boost the funds of the ‘Air Ambulance’ charity. Whilst some short way along the mall a lady didn’t seem to be able to peel the stickers off her shiny-paper fast enough to please those who were giving to ‘Dogs for the blind’.
You can say what you like about the Brit’s but one thing for sure is that on the whole they are a pretty generous bunch, so I say good luck to them, God bless them and I hope that their stockings a full to overflowing on Christmas Day. Have a good one! And Cheers…
